Why We Started Enjoy Kava Bar
In 2019, we recognized a gap in Miami Beach’s nightlife scene: there was no premium space for those seeking social experiences without alcohol. We wanted to introduce South Beach to the ancient Pacific Island tradition of kava and the wellness benefits of quality kratom tea.
Our founders had experienced the calming effects of kava during travels to Fiji and Vanuatu, and discovered kratom’s energizing and relaxing properties in Southeast Asia. We knew Miami Beach needed a place where digital nomads, wellness enthusiasts, and locals could gather for authentic botanical drinks in a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere.
